Quick Decision Guide

Is UltraSinc the Right Chair for You?

Choose UltraSinc if you want Niture’s most complete combination of movement support, precise adjustment and premium long-hour comfort.

Choose UltraSinc if

You want the flagship SINC experience

  • You sit for long workdays and regularly change posture.
  • You want more control over lumbar, upper-back, neck, seat and arm support.
  • You use both upright focus and reclined recovery positions.
  • You prefer Premium Wintex Mesh and a more refined chair feel.
  • You want the most complete adjustment package in the SINC Series.
Consider another model if

Your priority is different

  • SINC: balanced Smart-Glide™ support for everyday use.
  • SINC 2: stronger lower-back focus and a more upright feel.
  • SINC Lite: essential Smart-Glide™ support at a lower price point.
  • SINC Air: lighter, more relaxed and more reclined sitting.
  • HAMMOCK: accessible ergonomic comfort without the full SINC system.
Recommended Height 155–190 cm
Maximum Load 130 kg
Warranty 5 Years

Height is only a starting point. Seat depth, torso length, lumbar position and headrest reach should also be checked.

Smart-Glide™ Movement
Smart-Glide™

The Backrest Responds as You Move

Smart-Glide™ adds a separate layer of backrest movement alongside UltraSinc’s synchronized recline, helping the backrest maintain closer contact as your sitting angle changes.

01

Begin in Your Working Position

Set the seat, lumbar support, armrests and headrest before judging the movement.

02

Lean Back Naturally

The synchronized recline changes the overall sitting angle while Smart-Glide™ allows additional movement at the backrest.

03

Maintain More Back Contact

As your torso moves into recline, the additional backrest movement helps reduce the support gap against the lower back.

Smart-Glide™ is not the recline mechanism. Synchronized recline changes the chair’s overall sitting angle. Smart-Glide™ adds separate movement where your back meets the backrest.

Backrest + Adaptive Lumbar

Position the Support. Then Choose How It Responds.

Adjust the backrest to suit your torso and position the lumbar support against your lower back. Then decide whether you want the lumbar section to move with you or remain more fixed.

Adaptive Lumbar
Up to 15° Pivot

Control How Freely the Lumbar Follows You

The lumbar section can pivot as your lower back changes position. Use the rear adjustment wheel to progressively reduce that movement or set the support to a fixed position.

More Adaptive Less Movement Fixed
Additional fine-tuning: rear pump and release controls can also adjust lumbar mesh tension after the main lumbar position and movement response have been set.
Two different adjustments, two different jobs: backrest height changes where the support meets your torso, while the lumbar control changes how freely the lower-back support can respond.

Forward-Tilt Upper Back

Bring the Upper Backrest Closer When You Lean In

Tilt the upper section forward by up to 12° to maintain closer upper-back contact during typing, reading and other focused desk tasks.

12° maximum forward-tilt range
  • Useful when your work naturally brings your torso forward.
  • Adjusts the upper-back section without changing the entire backrest angle.
  • Return it toward neutral when you prefer a more open sitting position.
This adjustment changes upper-back contact, not the chair’s main recline angle.
Premium Wintex Mesh

Breathable Support Without Thick Cushioning

UltraSinc uses Premium Wintex Mesh across the seat and backrest, creating a responsive sitting surface while allowing air to move through the areas in contact with your body.

01

Breathable

The open mesh construction allows airflow through the seat and backrest during longer sitting sessions.

02

Responsive

The mesh flexes under the body rather than relying on a thick layer of foam.

03

Supportive

Tension across the mesh creates a suspended sitting surface that follows the chair’s support structure.

Wintex Mesh is used on UltraSinc, SINC and SINC 2 within the Niture SINC Series.

Seat Fit

Start With the Seat Before Adjusting the Backrest

Set the seat height and usable depth to match your leg length first. A better seat fit makes the lumbar, backrest and headrest easier to position correctly.

45–52 cm
Seat Height Measured from the ground to the sitting surface. Adjust until your feet are supported without excessive pressure beneath the thighs.
≈42–50 cm
Usable Seat Depth Slide the seat forward or backward to support the thighs while maintaining comfortable clearance behind the knees.
53 × 53 cm
Physical Seat Pan Overall seat-pan width × physical depth.
Physical seat depth and usable seat depth are different measurements. UltraSinc has a 53 cm physical seat-pan depth, while the usable sitting-depth range is approximately 42–50 cm.
3D Dual-Joint Headrest

Check Whether the Headrest Reaches Your Neck

Adjust the headrest in depth, rotation and tilt, then confirm that the final support position aligns with your neck rather than simply touching the back of your head.

≈55–86 cm
Headrest Height From Seat Approximate vertical range from the sitting surface to the headrest support area.
Depth 7 Steps 7 cm adjustment range
Rotation Up to 70° dual-joint rotation
Tilt Up to 70° headrest contact angle
Headrest reach matters more than user height alone. Two users of the same height can have different torso and neck positions, so the final check is whether the headrest reaches the neck curve without pushing the head forward.

UltraSinc 6D Dual-Axis armrests with adjustable height width depth pivot rotation and tilt
6D Dual-Axis Armrests
Arm Support

Position the Armrests Around Your Body and Desk

The 6D Dual-Axis system gives you more control over where your elbows and forearms are supported, whether you sit close to the desk, type farther forward or change posture during the day.

Height From Seat ≈20–29 cm Approximate vertical range from the sitting surface to the armrest pad.
Inner Armrest Width ≈36–63 cm Approximate usable space between the left and right armrests.
Six adjustment directions

04 · Pivot Up to 270° Dual-Axis pivot range
05 · Rotate 360° pad rotation
06 · Tilt Up to 20° pad tilt range
Start with shoulder position. Set the armrests high enough to support the forearms without lifting the shoulders, then adjust width and reach to suit your desk position.

Recline Lock 4 Positions choose the angle that suits the task
Retractable Padded Footrest

Extend the footrest when reclining to support the legs during short breaks, reading or more relaxed sitting.

Use the more upright positions for desk work and reserve deeper recline for rest and recovery, rather than trying to type at maximum recline.

Body Fit

Height Is Only the Starting Point

UltraSinc is generally recommended for users around 155–190 cm, but two people of the same height can still need very different chair settings.

155–190 cm recommended user-height starting range
01

Check Your Legs

Adjust seat height and depth so your feet are supported and the seat edge does not press behind the knees.

02

Check Your Torso

Position the backrest so the lumbar and upper-back sections meet the intended areas of your back.

03

Check Your Neck

Confirm the headrest can reach your neck curve without pushing your head forward.

Body proportions matter more than height alone. Leg length, torso length and neck position can change how UltraSinc fits even between users of the same height.
SINC Series Comparison

UltraSinc Is the Flagship — Not Automatically the Best Fit for Everyone

Every SINC model has a different sitting character. Choose according to how you work, how much support you prefer and how the chair fits your body.

U

Choose UltraSinc when you want the most complete combination of Smart-Glide™, adjustment range, premium materials and work-to-recovery support in the SINC Series.

Model Best For Sitting Character Main Reason to Choose
UltraSinc Flagship Long-hour professionals wanting the most complete adjustment and recovery experience. Adaptive + premium. Supports focused work, movement and deeper recline. Smart-Glide™, adaptive lumbar, forward-tilt upper back, 6D Dual-Axis armrests and Premium Wintex Mesh.
SINC Users who want a balanced Smart-Glide™ chair without moving to the flagship model. Balanced. Natural mix of focused work, movement and recline. The safest all-round starting point in the core SINC range.
SINC 2 Users who prioritise focused desk work and more noticeable lower-back support. More upright + lumbar focused. Stronger lower-back character with extensive adjustment around focused work.
SINC Lite Users making their first serious ergonomic upgrade or prioritising value. Accessible + practical. Essential Smart-Glide™ support at a lower entry point.
SINC 3 Users who prefer a more substantial and stable support feel. Firmer + more planted. More substantial sitting character for users who prefer stronger support presence.
SINC Air Home-office users who naturally prefer more relaxed sitting. Relaxed + more reclined. Lighter everyday sitting character with a more casual lean-back feel.

The most expensive or most adjustable model is not automatically the best-fitting chair. Body proportions and support preference should still decide the final choice.

UltraSinc FAQ

Before You Choose UltraSinc

Practical answers about body fit, adjustment and how UltraSinc compares with other SINC models.

What is the recommended height range for UltraSinc?

UltraSinc is generally recommended for users around 155–190 cm.

Height is useful for shortlisting, but it does not guarantee fit. Leg length, torso length, lumbar position, arm position and headrest reach can differ between people of the same height.

What is the usable seat-depth range?

UltraSinc has an approximate usable seat-depth range of ≈42–50 cm. The physical seat pan measures 53 × 53 cm.

These are different measurements. Use the ≈42–50 cm usable range when assessing whether the seat depth suits your leg length.

Which UltraSinc measurements are most useful for checking body fit?

Measurements referenced from the seat and support points can be more useful than overall chair dimensions when comparing UltraSinc with your own body proportions.

≈42–50 cm Usable seat depth
≈14–19 cm Lumbar height from seat
≈20–29 cm Armrest height from seat
≈36–63 cm Armrest inner width
≈55–86 cm Headrest height from seat
How does UltraSinc Smart-Glide™ work?

Smart-Glide™ adds movement at the backrest so it can respond as your torso changes position, helping maintain closer back contact as you move through different sitting angles.

It works alongside the chair’s synchronized recline rather than being the recline mechanism itself.

How does the adaptive lumbar support work?

The lumbar section can pivot by up to 15° as your lower back changes position.

Use the rear adjustment wheel to progressively reduce how much movement is allowed, or turn it fully to the right for fixed lumbar support.

Where does the lumbar support sit?

The lumbar support area is approximately ≈14–19 cm above the seat, depending on the backrest position.

Use this measurement as a reference, then confirm the final position by checking where the support actually contacts your lower back.

Can the lumbar mesh tension also be adjusted?

Yes. Rear pump and release controls provide additional fine-tuning of the lumbar mesh tension.

Treat this as a secondary adjustment. First position the backrest and choose how freely you want the lumbar support to pivot.

How adjustable are the UltraSinc armrests?

UltraSinc uses 6D Dual-Axis armrests with height, width, depth, pivot, rotation and tilt adjustment.

The armrest height from the seat is approximately ≈20–29 cm, while the inner width between the armrests is approximately ≈36–63 cm. These measurements help indicate whether the armrests can be positioned comfortably around your body.

How adjustable is the UltraSinc headrest?

The 3D Dual-Joint Headrest provides 7 steps / 7 cm of depth adjustment, up to 70° rotation and up to 70° tilt.

Its approximate height from the seat is ≈55–86 cm. Final fit should be judged by whether the headrest reaches your neck curve without pushing your head excessively forward.

How far does UltraSinc recline?

UltraSinc reclines up to 145° and provides four locking positions.

The retractable padded footrest can be extended when you want a more relaxed sitting or recovery position.

What is the difference between UltraSinc and SINC?

SINC is Niture’s balanced all-round Smart-Glide™ model. UltraSinc is the flagship model with a more extensive adjustment package, including adaptive lumbar pivot control, forward-tilt upper-back support and 6D Dual-Axis armrests.

What is the difference between UltraSinc and SINC 2?

SINC 2 has a more upright and lower-back-focused sitting character. UltraSinc combines a broader range of movement and adjustment features for users who want greater flexibility between focused work and reclined sitting.

Neither model is automatically the better fit. Body proportions and preferred support feel should decide.

Is UltraSinc suitable for long working hours?

UltraSinc provides adjustable seat depth, backrest height, lumbar response, upper-back position, headrest, armrests and recline for long workdays.

Correct adjustment, suitable desk positioning and regular changes in posture still matter during prolonged sitting.

Can I try UltraSinc before buying?

Yes. UltraSinc is available for fitting at the Niture Puchong showroom.

You can check usable seat depth, lumbar position, armrest height and spacing, headrest reach and recline against your own body before deciding.

If you are comparing UltraSinc with another chair, use a similar seat height, seat depth and desk position before judging the support. A chair that has been fitted more accurately can otherwise feel better simply because the comparison is not equal.
